23. Call to Action

In the third chapter of Genesis, we read the story of Adam and Eve in Eden and the initial attack on truth—a strategic three-step assault:
- Truth twisted (No eating of any tree.)
- Truth questioned (Did God really say…?)
- Truth rejected (You will not certainly die.)
The world continues to feel the pain of that ancient assault, with truth still frequently distorted, contested, and defied. However, we are now living in an era marked by the most relentless and brutal, yet clandestine, attack on truth the world has ever faced. It is no longer only individual truths under siege but the very concept and nature of truth itself. This assault has been ongoing long enough for its devastating consequences to become evident around us. Yet, there is hope: more and more people are beginning to recognize this attack for what it is, and many are rising with a determined resolve to push back.
It may not have been clear until now, but this book is a call to war—not a war fought by military might but a battle for the mind and soul of our people, our culture, and our world—a battle against confusion, division, and the erosion of truth. This final section is not an ending but an invitation to begin.
Personal Insights
The Snowman Jesus parable was written to spark discussions by spotlighting a pressing problem, identifying key concepts, and introducing a shared vocabulary to encourage penetrating conversations. So, jot down your insights and questions before they slip away. Your notes will deepen the dialogue, and your best insights will almost certainly emerge during these conversations.
Observe and Reflect
Start using the four mentors (Fisherman, Scientist, Artist, and Wildlife Researcher) as a set of looking glasses to peek into the minds of the people around you. Observe which “mental software” they use, when they switch between “software programs,” and how their selected mental operating system impacts their faith—or lack thereof. Use these insights to engage with others thoughtfully and compassionately.
Revisit the chapters on truth being like coffee, a cube, and a mountain peak. Challenge yourself to explain these metaphors to others without needing to check your notes. Reflect on how these concepts give you a firmer grip on truth to deepen and enrich your daily conversations, your relationships, and your reading of the Bible.
Engage Others
Think of people you’d like to share the parable with—friends, family, small groups, or colleagues. Retell aspects of the story to them or encourage them to read it themselves. Use the core ideas to plant questions and spark conversations about truth, faith, and culture. The parable’s main premise is clear: one of the most important and overlooked reasons for the decline of Christianity in the West is confusion about truth—what truth is and how it works. If we do not recover our grip on truth, the melting away of Christianity in the West will not stop.
Feel free to share the ideas and metaphors from this book—in person, on social media, or through creative expression. Record videos, write reflections, or create art—hand-drawn, digital, or AI-generated—that brings these concepts to life. Let your creations invite others into this journey of rediscovering truth. Please remember to reference the source whenever sharing.
Join the Movement
Help create and fan aflame a growing movement of people committed to rediscovering truth, renewing faith, and shaping a culture where both truth and faith can thrive. Together, we can confront the confusion of melting truth and faith in the West. May this parable be a springboard and a catalyst, and may you be part of a movement that re-ignites clarity of thinking, faith, and hope.
May God powerfully use you to bring others back to the One who is the Truth.
Commitment
So, which of the following are you willing to commit to?
- Planting questions and stirring up conversations about truth.
- Connecting (or reconnecting) with a church community.
- Committing to prayer and God’s Word.
- Signing up for the Snowman Drip-feed—a short daily prompt over 100 days, designed to inspire growing clarity and deepen your grip on truth.
